RRB NTPC, Group D Recruitment 2019

RRB NTPC Recruitment 2019 – On February 23, 2019, the Indian Railways released the advertisement in the ‘Employment News Paper” for the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) NTPC and Group D posts. The official RRB website will display the notification on February 28, 2019, candidates can visit the site and check the details. The recruitment will be as it is for the Group D posts viz computer-based exam physical measurement test, document verification and physical endurance test.

The eligible candidates for the first tranche of recruitments in Non-Technical Popular Categories can do registration of online applications from 28.02.2019. The posts included in these categories are Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Commercial Apprentice, Station Master etc, mentioned an official release by Ministry of Railways


Vacancy details of RRB NTPC 2019

  • Total number of vacancies: 1,30,000 out of which
  • 1,00,000 vacancies for Level-1 posts
  • 30,000 vacancies for paramedical staff

 Important dates

  • Online registration (NTPC) begins on February 28
  • Online registration for paramedical staff March 4
  • This year the candidates will be given the benefits EWS or Economically Weaker Sections reservations in the railway’s jobs too.

Applications for all the posts will be accepted online only. All vacancies except the Level 1 will be available on the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). The Level 1 vacancies will be available on the website of Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC). Registration can be done after opening the website.

Refund of fees

The fee taken in the beginning will be Rs 500. Out of which Rs 400 will be refunded after deducting bank charges on appearing in 1st stage. This for the candidates who fall in the general category.

The fee of Rs 250 will be taken by taken by the candidates who belong to SC/ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ PwBDs / Female / Transgender/ Minorities / Economically Backward Class, and it will be refunded after deducting the bank charges. As applicable on appearing in 1st stage CBT

The Ministry of Railway had advertised for over 1.2 lakh vacant posts in Group C, Group D. Over 2.5 crore candidates applied for the post. This was the statistics last year this year the number of vacancies is 1.3 lakhs.
