Washington University in St Louis – The Bachelor of Science in Global Leadership and Management prepares students for leadership and management positions in a variety of organisational settings, private and public, domestic and international. The programme provides an alternative path of study for the liberally educated business professional seeking practical skills and strategies for successful management in a global business environment.
The programme also provides a critical analysis of historical and social forces that influence leadership and organisations, and it addresses complex questions from different intellectual perspectives to broaden business education. Additionally, the programme enables students to examine the dynamic between culture and successful business practice, both at home and abroad, and it provides the opportunity to study in greater depth the perception of a particular geographic area associated with a student’s personal and professional interests.
A capstone course blends the program’s multidisciplinary coursework with students’ professional experience to help them produce their own integrated and practical strategy for global leadership development.
Accreditation ensures Washington University’s compliance with all rules and requirements issued by the HLC/NCA concerning changes of and additions to Washington University’s academic programmes. They were last re-accredited in 2014.From September 22-24, 2014, Washington University underwent an on-site evaluation visit by a team of trained peer reviewers assigned by the HLC. The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – test your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00. All applicants for admission to an undergraduate degree or certificate program must submit the following:
Complete application – A completed Undergraduate Application (online application). Your application is ready for review when all fields on the application form are completed, required documents are submitted, and the application fee is paid.
Official transcripts from all previous college work (if applicable) – Official transcripts from all previous college work (University College can request the transcript(s) on your behalf. Please request this service via our Transcript Release form).

Personal statement – Tell us about yourself in a brief essay (about 250 words). Why are you applying to University College? What are your goals, both academic and professional? What do we need to know when considering your application?
TOEFL scores (if applicable) – If you are not a U.S. citizen, official TOEFL scores must be forwarded to University College (Canada, Australia and U.K. residents are exempt.)
A $35 non-refundable application fee – Payment may be submitted by credit card online, or via check or money order payable to Washington University in St. Louis. You may pay the fee by cash at the University College office.
