Aurora’s Scientific Technological and Research Academy, Hyderabad was established in 2000 by the Ravi Rishi Educational Society. Previously it was called as Santh Samarth Engineering College. The basic philosophy of the institute can be summed up as to be a centre of learning, excelling in academics, which imparts state of the art knowledge to its students, encourages staff and students to actively take up research and development activities and to be an agent of promotion of ethical values to its students and staff and thus serve the society.
The institute also actively encourages its teaching and supporting staff to acquire higher qualifications and supports them while they do so. This is done with a view to enhance the quality of educational activities in the institute. As a result of this, the institute can boast of a very percentage of staff with Post Graduate and Ph.D. qualifications.

The institute will make available and cooperate in getting Scholarships to S.C./S.T. and other deserving backward classes. It will also institute Scholarships in coordination with industries and institutes for deserving and meritorious students. Free ships / concessions in fees will also be offered to meritorious students.
