Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Bangalore was established in 1969 as Food Craft Institute. In 1983 the College was re-christened as Institute of Hotel Management and commenced offering the 3 Year Degree in Hotel & Hospitality administration. The Bangalore Institute was set up jointly by the Government of India and the Government of Karnataka. Today, the Institute is widely regarded as one of the premier Institutes in the country to equip aspirants to the hospitality service. It is affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology.
