One of the prominent Law Universities in West Bengal is West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences. NUJS was set up in the year 1999 and the West Bengal Legislature adopted it in July 1999 with Bar Council of India’s affiliation. The then Chief Justice of India, B. N.
