University of Glasgow was established in 1451 is the fourth-oldest university in the English-speaking world. The University has fostered the talents of seven Nobel laureates, one Prime Minister and Scotland’s inaugural first minister. It is a member of the prestigious Russell Group of leading UK research universities. The University has more than 23,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The University main campus is located at Gilmorehill, Glasgow. Gilmorehill campus is centered on a neo-gothic main building designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott. The building’s distinctive spire was added by his son John Oldrid Scott in the late 19th century. Glasgow is one of the most exciting cities in the UK and has one of the largest student populations.
