Can you give the overview of the programs you offer?

The Rustomjee Academy for Global Careers (RAGC), was established in the year 2008 with the cause of equipping the youth with skills that will give them employment. RAGC has developed a successful model for the skill development by setting up vocational training facilities, getting expert instructors and providing exposure to real life scenarios for the training and tying up with industry for student employment access.

RAGC is currently delivering following full-time Programs:

Elaborate about the Corporate training

Nearly 25% of the entire project construction cost is spent on services under the MEP heads, while it plays an important role in making the project habitable and enhances the buyer's experience. MEP department has a team that is specialized in their respective domain and focuses on the execution activities of the same. Creating major room for miscommunication leading to errors, rework, and rectification.

To address these challenges, we at Rustomjee Academy for Global Careers have launched MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) program for corporate employees through which the participants will be training on all functions of services namely:

  • HVAC
  • Electrical
  • Plumbing
  • Fire Fighting
Objective of MEP training:
  • Increases the efficiency of the employees by upgrading their Skill
  • Completion of projects on time due to efficient manpower

  • Pre- Assessment before training to identify the Skill Gap
  • Profiling of candidate based on gap identification
Training as per defined curriculum:
  • Theoretical (Interactive & Audio Video presentation)
  • Practical & Demonstration (On-Site Visit)
  • Weekly Assignment related to topics covered
  • Assessment on completion of the program
  • Assessment of the lines of Pre-assessment
  • Performance Interview by RAGC and Trainers/corporate team
  • Upskill report of the individual participant with a recommendation plan
  • Yearly upgradation session (at no additional cost)

Can you elaborate about your placement records?

RAGC is committed to providing their students with sufficient placement related activities. The placement team takes cares of all communication between the companies and students, acting as the in-between. The team ensures that every student receives the proper guidance and support needed to secure a placement with the help of RAGC's widespread employer network.

Give us details about student's life at RAGC -

RAGC supports the development of innovative businesses working in science, technology, knowledge-based and creative sectors by providing a high quality environment and associated support services. RAGC offers a spacious 5 arcs fully-equipped campus, deep-seated in Dahanu-East.

RAGC-UoW Students have access to the University of Wolverhampton's large number of electronic databases, journals and books. Canvas is the University of Wolverhampton's new Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Canvas is used by students and staff to support learning and teaching activities, including access to online learning materials and module activities such as discussions, quizzes and assignments.

RAGC also offers a state-of-the-art IT facility in terms of Internet and Campus Wide Networking to create and maintain a healthy environment for the pursuit of academic excellence and quality management. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled and all students and staff have free unlimited access to computers and internet.

RAGC Dahanu campus has a Cricket ground with a well laid pitch, full facilities for net practice where students can practice minute skills in the game. The basketball and Volleyball court is situated in the midst of the open grounds offering a scenic view to the basketball players. We have two Table Tennis halls in the sports complex where the students are given intensive practice in the game. Students enjoy their sport as they feel more energetic and healthy after a rigorous study schedule.

What are your global objectives? Also, what are the overseas alliances RAGC has?

With an objective of giving access of global education to our local community and giving them opportunities to compete worldwide, RAGC has partnered with the University of Wolverhampton, UK in October 2017. By being in partnership with the University of Wolverhampton, RAGC is able to offer the following Level 6 (top-up) Bachelor's Degree Programmes.
