BSEAP announces Class X Results 2019

The Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) declared the AP 10th Result 2019 or AP SSC Result 2019 yesterday at 11.00 A.M., as per News 18 report. The BSEAP announced the AP 10th results for Class X students on its official website at bseap.org. Students who had taken the SSC examination can download their AP Class X result and keep a print-out of it for future use. The AP result can also be checked via SMS. The Board is responsible for holding the examination every year. This year, the Andhra Pradesh Board had held the examination from March 18 – April 02, 2019. Last year, AP SSC result was released on April 29. For the academic session 2018-2019, the AP Board examination was held from March 18 to April 2.

Board of Secondary Education of Andhra Pradesh also known as the Directorate of Government Examinations. It was established in 1953 and functions as an autonomous body under the Andhra Pradesh’s Department of Education. The board regulates and supervises the system of Secondary education in Andhra Pradesh State. It executes and governs various activities that include devising of courses of study, prescribing syllabus, conducting examinations, granting recognitions to schools and, providing direction, support and leadership for all secondary educational institutions under its jurisdiction. Directorate of Government Examinations is an independent department functioning under ministry of secondary education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The department is responsible for conducting the SSC/OSSC Public Examinations and a number of minor examinations as given below. Established in 1953 to supervise and regulate various schools established before the board. The Board was located at Chapel Road opposite to Stanley Girls High School. Now it is located in Vijayawada.

Major Examinations

  • DGE’s office conducts SSC/OSSC examinations twice in a year
  • This is the major examination with a registration of 6.52 lakh candidates for Annual (March -2015) examinations and 0.75 lakh candidates for Advanced Supplementary Examinations (May / June -2015)
