DGE Tamil Nadu release Class XII results declared
Class XII results – The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Government of Tamil Nadu, has released the Tamil Nadu 12th results, as per NDTV report. Tamil Nadu (TN) Class XII results have been released for the exams held from March 1 to March 12 on the official websites affiliated with the DGE, Tamil Nadu. The Tamil Nadu 12 results are available on tnresults.nic.in, dge1.tn.nic.in and dge2.tn.nic.in.
The students who are searching for the TN 12th results (also known as Tamil Nadu HSC result or Tamil Nadu +2 result) may open the websites mentioned above and check their results from the websites. 91.3 per cent of students qualified for higher education which is a .2 per cent increase from last year. The DGE, Tamil Nadu had started the evaluation process from March 29 and was completed by April 10, citing sources, the report said. The marks statements will be released through the respective schools from April 20 and the same will be available till April 26.
According to a DGE Tamil Nadu notification, candidates will be permitted to apply for re-totalling in all subjects within the dates prescribed by the education department after the publication of TN +2 results.

The main objective of the DGE is the assessment of Scholastic attainment of academic students and skilled attainments by conducting Class X and Class XII Board Examinations, Government Technical Examinations, Diploma in Elementary Education, NMMS, TRUSTS, National Talent Search Examinations and releasing of results in time, and issuing certificates therefore under the authority of Government of Tamil Nadu.
Higher Secondary and SSLC Examinations
Every year under the academic stream of ten-year pattern SSLC and Higher Secondary Examination for the 12th standard are the main examinations held by the DGE. In order to facilitate the students to continue the studies without any break, the Special Supplementary Examinations for Class X and Class XII are held for the benefit of students who have failed in March / April Examinations. From June / July 2012 candidates are allowed to appear for special supplementary examinations, irrespective of the number of subjects they failed.
Diploma in Elementary Educations
The Directorate of Government Examinations also conducting the examinations for the Diploma in Elementary Education, The scanned copy of answer scripts is provided to the candidates who desire for it. Moreover, re-totalling and revaluation of answer scripts are also done for the candidates who desire.
Eighth Standard Public Examination (ESLC)
In Order to impart minimum general education qualification to obtain employment/promotion at the basic level, DGE conducts the ESLC Examinations and …. no of candidates appeared in the examination conducted in Jan 2017.
