Karnataka PUC result 2019 released for second year student
Karnataka PUC result 2019– The Pre-University Examination (PUE) Department, Government of Karnataka, has announced the PUC (Pre-University Certificate) result for the second year students, as per NDTV report. The second PUC results were announced on April 15 at 11.00 am. The result has now been uploaded on the official websites, pue.kar.nic.in and karresults.nic.in. The PUC results have been released 15 days earlier than the same was released last year. In this year’s second PU result, the overall pass percentage has increased by 2.15%. The pass percentage among girl students is 68.2%, noted the report. The pass percentage among science students is 66.58% and it is 66.39% in Commerce. What is more, 80 colleges have recorded a total of 100% pass the report pointed out.

- Enter the necessary details (your examination details)
- Click “submit” and check your second PUC result from next page
The results were released by PUE director C Shikha. As the results were announced, the official websites which host the results started crashing and not responding now. Nevertheless, the students are advised to check the websites frequently to ensure whether they are live.

The Department of Pre-University, Government of Karnataka is responsible for the implementation of higher secondary education in the state. There are 1202 Government Pre-University colleges, 637 Aided Pre-University colleges, 1936 Unaided Pre-University colleges, 165 bifurcated Pre-University colleges and 13 Corporation Pre-university colleges. After X standard every year about 10 lakh students enrols in the two-year Pre-university courses.
The courses offered by the Department are broadly classified under the categories of Humanities (Arts), Science and Commerce. There are 23 subjects, 11 languages and 50 combinations in the Pre-University curriculum. In 2010-11, there were 4,43,185 students in Humanities in I and II PUC, 2,47,421 students in Science in I and II PUC and 2,77,189 students in commerce in I and II PUC.
