HP TET 2019 online application open while last date to apply is May 27

The application process for the Himachal Board of School Education (HPBOSE) Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)- June 2019 has been released at hpbose.org. As per the India Today report, the candidates who wish to appear for the examination can fill HP TET application form 2019 online. The registration process began on May 7, 2019, and the last date to register online is May 27, 2019.

Steps to fill the online application form

  • Visit the official website, hpbose.org
  • Click on apply online for HP TET 2019
  • Follow the link to the registration
  • Fill in your details in the fields provided
  • Upload scanned photograph and signature. (Signature should be in jpg/jpeg format and the size of the signature must be between 10 and 15 kb
  • The size of the photograph must be between 15 and 20 kb.)
  • Pay the fee for final submission
  • Take a print out of the same for future reference

Corrections date

  • After the final submission of the online application form, two days will be given to the applicants for the corrections
  • May 28, 2019
  • May 29, 2019 (till 11:59:00 pm)

Application Fees

  • Candidates have to pay the examination fee through online payment mode using Credit Card or Debit Card only
  • The examination fee is Rs. 800 for the candidates of belonging to General category and its Sub-Categories (except PHH)
  • For candidates belonging to OBC/ST/SC/PHH categories, the application fee is Rs. 500

Exam pattern

  • The paper will contain objective type questions of one mark each
  • No marks will be deducted in case of a wrong answer
  • The examination will be for 150 minutes and the minimum qualifying marks are 60% for general category candidates

Admit Card

  • The Admit Cards will be uploaded on the Board website
  • The Candidates will be able to download/print the Admit Cards for entrance to Examination Centre
  • The Admit Card will not be sent to Candidates separately by post

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala came into existence in 1969 as per Himachal Pradesh Act No. 14 of 1968 with its head-quarter at Shimla later shifted to Dharamshala in January 1983. The Board started with a staff of 34 officials which subsequently increased to 643. The Education Board prescribes syllabus, courses of instructions and text books for school education in Himachal Pradesh besides conducting examinations based on courses listed. At present, the Board conducts examination for the following classes and courses: 10th, 10+2, J.B.T and T.T.C.

As many as 5 lakh candidates annually appear in the examination conducted by the Board. Presently more than 8000 schools are affiliated with the Board. The Board has set up 1846 Examination centres throughout the state. Board also publishes textbooks for class 1-XII. Apart from a Liaison Office at Shimla, the Board has also established 26 Book Distribution and Guidance/Information Centres in the state to cater to the needs of students.
