Score Card of IBPS RRB Office Assistant Preliminary Examination 2018 Released

The scorecard of The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Common Recruitment Process for Recruitment of Office Assistant (Multi-purpose) in Regional Rural Banks, (IBPS RRB Preliminary Examination) is out. The examination was held in August this year. It may be recalled that the result of IBPS RRB Preliminary Examination for Office Assistant was released on September 14, 2018. Though, only the qualifying status for the main examination was released at that time of result declaration, while the scorecard will be released on their official website today. The candidates who are awaiting the scorecard should have to enter their registration number and password to log in and access marks scored in the preliminary examination. The candidates have to visit to download their scorecard. Those who have qualified in the preliminary examination will be able to appear for the IBPS RRB Main Examination, as the Institute had already released the RRB Main Examination call letter.

Main Examination

The main examination is scheduled to be held on October 7. The IBPS RRB main examination for Office Assistant post will consist of two hours duration, while the question paper will have five sections that include reasoning, general awareness, computer knowledge, language (English or Hindi) and numerical ability. What is more, each section will have 40 questions, and the total number of questions will be 200. The full marks allotted to reasoning is 50, general awareness 40, computer knowledge 20, language 40 and numerical ability 20.

The candidates should produce all documents as prescribed in the notification and or call letter without any exception at the time of Online Main Examination. The candidate’s identity is verified concerning his/her details on the call letter, in the attendance list and necessary documents submitted. If the integrity of the candidate is in doubt, the candidate may not be allowed to appear for the Online Main Examination. It must be noted that ration card will not be accepted as valid ID proof for appearing in Online Main Examination. In case of candidates who have changed their name, they will be allowed if they produce original Gazette notification/their original marriage certificate/affidavit in the original. Biometric data (Right thumb impression or otherwise) and photograph will be captured twice at the Online Main Examination venue, that is before the examination starts and after the test is over. The decision of the Biometric data verification authority concerning its status (matched or mismatched) shall be final and binding upon the candidates. Refusal to participate in the process of biometric data capturing/verification on any occasion may lead to cancellation of candidature.

With regards to the same, candidates need to note the following:

  • If fingers are coated (stamped ink/mehndi/ coloured etc.), ensure to thoroughly wash them so that coating is completely removed before the examination day. If fingers are dirty or dusty, ensure to clean them and dry them before the fingerprint (biometric) is captured.
  • Ensure fingers of both hands are dry. If fingers are moist, wipe each finger to dry them.
  • If the primary finger (right thumb) to be captured is injured or damaged, immediately notify the concerned authority in the examination centre. In such cases, the impression of other fingers, toes etc. may be captured.
  • Any failure to observe these points will result in non-admittance for the examination.
