Telangana Panchayat Secretary Results Declared
The Telangana State Panchayat Raj Department (TSPRI) has announced the results of Telangana Panchayat Secretary post of its written examination on its official website,tsprrecruitment.in and tspri.cgg.gov.in, said an HT report. It may be recalled that the TSPRI Panchayat Secretary examination was held on October 10, 2018. To check their results, the candidates can visit the official website by using their Admit Card or Hall Ticket details or registration number and date of birth, said the report.

The Government of Telangana, Office of the Commissioner of Panchayat Raj and Rural Employment, in its advertisement dated August 30, 2018, where applications were invited online for the post of Junior Panchayat Secretary from eligible candidates. The candidates were allowed to apply online from 3.9.2018 to 11.9.2018, and the last date for payment of the fee was 10.9.2018. There were total vacancies of 9,355.

Meanwhile, a TOI report said that an estimated 4.50 lakh candidates had appeared for this examination of paper 1 and paper 2. What is more, the Commission will eventually be releasing the cut off marks along with the results. The report further stated that earlier, the Hyderabad High Court had directed the Commission not to declare the result till October 30, 2018. The HC ruling came during a hearing of a petition filed by Telangana Grama Panchayat Employees’ Union seeking regularisation of the members of the Union as Panchayat Secretaries as per the AP Panchayat Raj Subordinate Service Rules, 2010. The report further added that during the trial, the petitioner’s counsel told the HC that there would be an adverse impact on the service conditions of the employees if the JPS posts are filled up.
