TN Class X Results 2019 will be uploaded today on official website

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TN DGE) has published the TN Class X results for the annual examinations held from March 3-29, 2019. The Tamil Nadu Class X results were declared today at 9.30 A.M. After the official declaration, the Tamil Nadu state Secondary School Leaving Certificate or SSLC results are also uploaded on websites hosted by TN DGE and NIC (National Informatics Centre). The TN Class X results can be accessed from the official websites after entering the examination registration details of the students, as per NDTV report.

According to media reports, in excess of 9 lakh students are awaiting the Tamil Nadu Class X results. TN DGE has made various facilities to release the results. Apart from official websites, TN results will be available on an app hosted by NIC and also through SMS service (which will be provided for candidates who had registered their mobile numbers with TN DGE; and SMS with the TN Class X results will be sent to the registered numbers).

After the TN Class X results declaration, candidates will be allowed to download their mark sheets through schools from May 2, 2019. The students will be able to download their mark sheets through dge.tn.nic.in from May 6, 2019. If the students find their marks unsatisfactory or failed, they may apply for re-totalling through the respective schools they had earlier registered for the exams from May 2 to 4, 2019, noted the report. Citing an official notification, the report said that the supplementary examinations will be conducted from June 14 to 22, 2019. The results date for TN Class X supplementary examinations will be released later, added the report.

The DGE has been entrusted with the onerous responsibility of conducting the Board examinations for the students studying in the State Board in Std X and XII. The mark certificates issued to the students of standard X and XII is considered as a vital and valued document for continuing higher education and for seeking job opportunities. What is more, the DGE is holding examinations and issuing certificate for Diploma in Elementary Education, Government Technical Examinations and ESLC (Eight Std – Private Study). Scholarship Examinations such as NMMS, TRUSTS and National Talent Search Examinations are conducted by this Directorate. It has seven Regional offices at Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli , Chennai, Cuddalore and Vellore. The logistics work for transporting of stationery items related to examinations, distribution of fund for conducting examinations and distribution of Mark Certificate are performed by these regional offices. The Government of Tamil Nadu have constituted a new Board for School Examination in the name of State Board of School Examinations by merging the Board of Secondary Education and Board of Higher Secondary Examinations vide G.O.(Ms) No.26, School Education (V1) Department, Dated: 16.02.2011. It has been permitted to conduct a meeting and to take decision with respect to all examinations.
