Top priority to Rajasthan Students for Education – NLU
Rajasthan has 487 departments which are little over 200 government colleges with 18,043 seats in total. Now the total number of seats has increased to 27,093 with the addition of 9,050 seats including 6,140 in MA, 1030 in MSc and 1,880 MCom.
Rajasthan domicile students who wish to pursue law from National Law University (NLU), Jodhpur have a reason to celebrate. The state higher education department has reserved 25% seats for state students from the coming session.
Another announcement for graduates looking to pursue post-graduation from government colleges is that the department has increased the PG seats by 50% from the coming session.
“While the increase in PG seats has given students to pursue higher education, seats increase in NLU will give students from the state in getting a quality education” said Maheshwari.
She also claimed that gross enrolment ratio in higher education has risen astronomically high in the last four years. The share of girls in the higher education was 51.4%.
