WBJEE 2019 Admit Card out and examinations to be held on May 26

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEE) has released the Admit Card 2019, as per India Today report. The candidates who are going to appear for the West Bengal Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2019 can download the Admit Card from the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in by entering the application number and password along with the security pin. The entrance examination will be held on May 26, 2019, in two slots: On May 26, paper-I (Mathematics) from (11-1.00 P.M.), and paper-II (Physics and Chemistry) from (2-4 P.M.).

Steps to download Admit Card

  • Visit the official website- wbjeeb.nic.in
  • Click on the link that says ‘WBJEE 2019 admit cards’
  • Enter all the details asked like roll number and password and click on submit
  • Download the admit card once it appears on the screen
  • Before downloading the Admit Card candidates have to make sure that the details given are correct and in case of any corrections needed must be brought to the notice of the examination authorities
  • Along with the Admit Card, the aspirants must carry a photo-identity card with them to the examination hall

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) was constituted in the year 1962 by the Government of West Bengal, in exercise of the powers conferred under article 162 of the Constitution of India pursuant to No. 828-Edn (T), dated 02.03.1962 for the purpose of conducting Joint Entrance Examination for admission to various institutions in West Bengal imparting education in medical, engineering and technological courses. The Board has been awarded the status of Statutory Body enacted vide “West Bengal Act XIV of 2014” named as “The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board Act, 2014”. The Board is empowered to conduct common, combined, competitive, entrance examinations for admission to the undergraduate professional and vocational courses in any College or in any University in the State of West Bengal. The endeavour of the Board has always been directed towards enhancement of transparency in conducting Common Entrance Examinations through effective state-of-the-art technology.

Important Instructions

  • Application must be done only online
  • There is no printed application form available
  • It is essential to have a mobile number and a unique e-mail ID
  • All future communications will be sent to the registered mobile number and e-mail I
  • The Board will not be responsible for non-receipt of any communication by the candidates if the mobile number or the e-mail ID are wrong
  • Once the registration details are entered and submitted, the inputs cannot be changed or modified under normal circumstances
  • The information must match exactly with the school Admit Cards, Mark Sheets, Certificates, Photo Identity Cards and Caste/Category Certificates, which a candidate has to produce at the time of entering the examination hall, during counselling, during admission and during registration with the University
  • Do not attempt to make any duplicate application
  • Do not share your application number, password, security question and answer with anyone
  • Upload scanned copy of your photograph and signature as instructions provided in the information bulletin, which is available on the official website
  • If any information other than name, father’s name, mother’s name and date of birth given in the application needs to be corrected, then do the correction within the given period of correction
  • The Board will not allow any correction thereafter

Application Fee

  • The Application fee is Rs.500 plus the bank’s service charges, as applicable, payable by net banking/debit card/credit card
  • Payment status is updated automatically and hence should show OK immediately after the payment
  • In some rare cases, it may be delayed due to delay/failure in the bank’s network or transaction failure at the electronic payment gateway
  • If the payment status does not show OK immediately after making the payment, then the candidates are adviced to make payment once again
  • Do not wait for the last day to make fee payment in order to avoid payment failure by bank or EPG
  • Keep copies of confirmation page, Admit Card in safe custody
  • It is not possible to generate any duplicate copy
