The MBA degree is a common choice for the students who wants to get job in a demanding position. The aim of this degree is to broaden your knowledge and skills. A degree in this field will help you get a job in the top MNCs. If you are interested in management or setting up your own business and wish to become an entrepreneur, it’s a great choice.

Now if you wish to pursue an MBA degree in India, there are a lot of entrance exams like CAT (Common Admission Test), MAT (Management Aptitude Test), CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) and XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) to name a few. If you want to study in the top IIMs (Indian Institute of Management) in India, you have to clear the CAT exam. The MAT exam is held for the students who wish to study in non-IIMs like Symbiosis Institute of Business Management in Pune and FMS (Faculty of Management studies) in Delhi. XAT scores are accepted in XLRI, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research etc. But it’s not like none of the non-IIMs will not accept your CAT score or SP Jain won’t accept your MAT score. For example, Amity Business School, Noida, accepts CAT, MAT, XAT as well as GMAT scores; SRM University, Chennai accepts MAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) and NMAT by GMAC (Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test administered by Graduate Management Admission Council). Some colleges and Universities accepts these scores but also conduct their own entrance exams like SP Jain conducts SPJAT, Anna University conducts TANCET exam.
