This category of admission is only applicable to those students who have passed their Class X or Class XII or both from an Indian board (such as ICSE or CBSE) outside India with a minimum aggregate of 60%, with the exception being NRIs from Bangladesh and Pakistan. If you are counted as an NRI student, and if you wish to apply for a UG (undergraduate) course in pharmacy or engineering, you need not appear for MHT-CET. You can directly appear for AIEEE.
Colleges with NRI Quota:
Quota for NRIs is generally 15% of the management quota according to the rules stipulated by DTE; however, they are applicable to change. It should be noted that not all colleges with management quota dedicate 15% of their seats to NRI students.

Complete the application form for Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries/Persons of Indian Origin/Foreign Students/ or Foreign Nationals, by downloading it.
You then need to send the completed application form with the applicable documents to the address that is mentioned in the form.
Admission is based on Class XII PCM (Physics-Chemistry-Maths) marks, and on the basis of merit, the college comes up with multiple lists.
(A) For Persons of Indian Origin or PIO/Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries
Proof of NRI/PIO from an Indian Embassy located in the respective country
Work Permit or Residence Proof
Applicant’s passport is essential for PIO category as well as Foreign Students/Foreign Nationals categories
When it comes to PIO category, applicant’s passport along with that of either his or her parents’ or grandparents’ or great-grandparents’ passports that have been issued by the Indian Government is also required.
Completed application form with recent color photograph that is pasted and signed in the space allotted.
Application fee of Rs 15,000/- (which is non-refundable) paid by Demand Draft in the name of “Director, College of Engineering Pune,” which is payable at Pune.
HSC statement of marks, or in case of Grade Sheet, an equivalent sheet of marks that shows the relationship between marks and grades, which is issued by a competent authority.
(B) For Foreign Student/Foreign National
Applicant’s passport, which is mandatory in this category
Application form duly completed with recent color photo pasted and signed across in the allotted space.
Application fee of Rs 15,000/- (which is non-refundable) payable through Demand Draft in the name of “Director, College of Engineering, Pune,” which is payable at Pune
HSC or Class 10+2 Examination Statement of Marks. In case of Grade Sheet, an equivalent Statement of Marks that shows the relationship between grades and marks, which has been issued by a competent authority.
